Sonauli/Nautanwa, Maharajganj: The Nautanwa Assembly unit of the Samajwadi Party has announced a protest on July 22, 2025 (Tuesday) against alleged irregularities in the NEET examination, the reported paper leak, and the alleged police baton charge on protesting students. During the demonstration, a memorandum addressed to the Governor will be submitted through the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Nautanwa.
According to the party, the protest will be led by Baiju Yadav, National Secretary of the Samajwadi Lohia Vahini and former State Secretary of the Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha. Vikram Yadav, President of the Samajwadi Party’s Nautanwa Assembly unit, will also lead party workers and students expected to participate in large numbers.
Baiju Yadav alleged that the Central Government failed to prevent serious irregularities and the alleged paper leak in the NEET examination and has not taken adequate steps to improve the education system. He also condemned the alleged police baton charge on students who were peacefully protesting at Jantar Mantar, calling it an attack on democratic rights.

The protest is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM on July 22, 2025, at the Nautanwa Tehsil premises. The Samajwadi Party has appealed to students, youth, and the general public to participate in large numbers to raise their voice for transparency in the education system and the protection of students’ rights.
