Sonauli/Maharajganj: Taking a significant step toward local development, MLA Rishi Tripathi laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 400-meter-long RCC road in Gandhi Nagar Ward of Nagar Panchayat Sonauli. The project is expected to improve transportation facilities for residents and accelerate the overall development of the area.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Rishi Tripathi said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen basic infrastructure in urban and rural areas. He emphasized that the new road will not only make commuting easier but also contribute to the socio-economic growth of the ward.
Residents had been demanding the construction of the road for a long time, as the poor condition of the existing route caused significant inconvenience, especially during the rainy season. The RCC road is expected to provide much-needed relief and ensure smoother movement for pedestrians and vehicles alike.
Local residents expressed their happiness over the commencement of the project and thanked the MLA for addressing their long-pending demand. They also hoped that similar development initiatives would continue in the future.
Among those present at the foundation-laying ceremony were former Chairman candidate Deepak Baba, nominated councilor Ravi Verma, Prem Jaiswal, Nautanwa Block Pramukh Rakesh Maddhesh, along with several other public representatives and local residents.
