Nautanwa: A case alleging assault on a 14-year-old Class VII student by a police outpost in-charge and two constables has surfaced in Nautanwa. The victim’s family submitted a memorandum to Circle Officer (CO) Basant Singh, demanding a fair investigation and strict action against the accused personnel.
According to the family, the minor was questioned by police near the railway station. They allege that during the questioning, the officers physically assaulted the boy, leaving visible injury marks on his body. Following the incident, the family, led by BJP leader Jitendra Jaiswal, approached the Circle Officer’s office seeking justice.
Circle Officer Basant Singh inspected the injury marks on the student’s body and assured the family that the matter would be investigated impartially and appropriate action would be taken based on the findings.
